    An introduction to Functional Osteopathy focusing on indirect treatment principles, adaptive physiology, and gentle therapeutic approaches. The Foundations of Functional Perception Functional 1 was created as the missing bridge between traditional biomechanical osteopathy and the deeper perceptual world of Biodynamic Osteopathy. Exploring the pelvis, sacrum, craniovertebral junction, and occiput through the principles of direction of ease, balanced tension, and functional relationships inspired by Dr. Sutherland, practitioners begin to perceive how biomechanical patterns naturally evolve into fluid and biodynamic relationships within the living system.
