Foundations of Biodynamic Pediatric Osteopathy
An inspiring introduction into the SOCK pediatric osteopathy curriculum, dedicated to the foundations of biodynamic pediatric care, perceptual development, and gentle osteopathic approaches for infants and children.
For more than two decades, the Swiss Osteopathic Center for Kids (SOCK) has brought together osteopaths from around the world in service to children and families.
Rooted in the biodynamic tradition of Osteopathy and inspired by the teachings of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, Dr. William Garner Sutherland, and Dr. James Jealous, this program offers a profound clinical and perceptual journey into pediatric osteopathic care.
Participants are introduced to the essential principles underlying the treatment of infants and children through the development of palpatory perception, therapeutic presence, fluid listening, and an understanding of the inherent forces of Health within the pediatric patient.
This first module establishes the foundations for understanding the child not only biomechanically, but also as a dynamic expression of fluid organization, growth, development, and adaptation.
Special emphasis is placed on the recognition of primary respiration, balanced relationships within the pediatric system, and the practitioner’s ability to synchronize with the natural organizing forces present within the child.
More than a postgraduate program, SOCK represents a living international community dedicated to learning, healing, friendship, and the unfolding of Osteopathy across generations and cultures.

There will be a clinic on Wednesday.
Treatments are taking place under
supervision of the teacher.

Course fee: 890,- Francs CH
Coffee, tea, water and a healthy snack during the pauses are included.
Subscription and cancelling policies
Your subscription will be completed by registration. The general terms and conditions of EATO apply to this agreement. The invoice will be sent within the next days. Students can pay the exact amount within two weeks after receiving the invoice on account number IBAN/BIC of Werner Van Camp, EATO with mentioning name and invoice number.
Cancelling two months before the start of the course, the full amount of the course will be refunded. Cancelling one month before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be asked as compensation for cancelling. Cancelling less than a month before the start of the course, the full amount of the course fee will be asked, unless there can be found a replacement.
